Driving exotic, unobtainable sportscars in different locations was the appeal. With NfS Underground it shifted to be like The Fast and the Furious. It was more like taking ownership and modifying of a bit more common cars. (I know customizing was, to an extent, in NfS4: High Stakes, but it was mostly performance mods).

I've been dying for a remake of Underground for years!! The cars, the maps, the nostalgia!! I don't buy many games, but a remake would definitely top my list!! Really, an update to the graphics and engine is all this game would really need. But, I wouldn't be opposed to some updated cars.
