At on 13,766 miles the dealership just replaced the inner alternator and my headlights seem brighter and don't seem to flicker anymore like you described.

My headlights just weren't bright enough, so I bought some H3 55W Hella driving lights and replaced the bulbs with H3 100W bulbs. I wired them so that they come on with my highbeams. They are very, very bright.
