Someof the sidequests and exploring are worth it to me at least. Some side quests are quite forgettable and somewhat annoying, but a lot really do add it Bayek. Definitely worth it if you can spare the time. In fact if you can manage it, I suggest the opposite of what someone else said here.

Ihave the entire map unfogged and 58 points synchronized but not many side quests done. I noticed that, while there are a lot of sidequests on the map showing as white diamonds with the ! symbol, when i go into the Quests page of the pause screen, there are only 3 sidequests listed.
