It would appear as though it's been going on for quite some time based on the results of my searches, and now you can't even get support from Deep Silver or Techland. Can't get DI Definitive edition to run at 144Hz. By default, with VSync off, the game runs at 60Hz on my 144Hz monitor. Adding the value MaxRefresh (144) to Video.scr just resets the settings menu even if set to read only and still doesn't give me my desired refresh rate.
if you dont have your own server just start your game in multi play either random or navagane set the game to public 4 or 8 player then give yuor details of your save game then the other person should find your game on the server list. #1. Now that you mention it, I can't remember it raining in Riptide. I remember Moreby having active weather in Dead Island, but nothing in Riptide. Just booted up the original version of Riptide on my PS3 and there is in fact a rain cycle. So bizarre that it was completely taken out in DE.
