Focus Electric. 2012. If the Ford Focus has issues with low oil pressure there is one really common cause. A bad bearing in the main and rod, which happens naturally over time, will allow the oil to seep out. This will lead to low oil pressure. If this is not it then You may simply be low on oil, or the oil is old and needs to be changed.
On a 1.0 ECOboost it is more likely that the camshaft driven vacuum pump has failed. The vacuum pump on these engines is well known to fail in 2 different ways: 1: The integrated plastic check valve is broken. The check valve is part of the pump and not available as a separate part from Ford. There are however aftermarket part available to fix

Ford is issuing a recall for approximately 1.5 million select 2012-18 Ford Focus vehicles equipped with 2.0-liter GDI and 2.0-liter GTDI engines for a malfunctioning canister purge valve.
I've not had much to do with the 2.0, but have tested and failed the actuator vacuum solenoid on a couple occasions. The 1.0 suffers with P132B and tends to be a failed one way valve in the vac pump, but I'm unsure (without looking) if the 2.0 has a similar vac' layout or not.

JW1982. The 1.0 ECOboost has a vacuum operated wastegate that is powered by an engine driven vacuum pump and controlled by an electronic control valve. The wastegate itself can easily be checked by applying vacuum to the hose pillar of the wastegate (for example with a large syringe).
DTC failure Byte. ID: 11. Description: Circuit Short To Ground. This DTC code is either caused by a wiring defect (short to ground) or by a defective fuel pump module. You should first disconnect the fuel pump module and inspect the wiring for visual defects and measure for continuity between the wiring and ground.
The wetbelt issue is caused by missed oil changes, wrong spec oil and engine flushes. The belt degrades and the fibres block the oil pump pickup and the engine is starved of oil causing large amounts of internal damage, usually destroying the engine. FWIW I’ve got a 2013 Focus 1.0 with 200,000km on it and… it’s fine 😃.
From what I understand, the oil pump failures are due to the oil pumps seizing up because the oil pickup screen gets plugged with sludge because of not changing the oil at the correct intervals. Once the pump seizes up, the oil pump drive belt destroys itself. If the oil pump belt tensioner fails, that will cause the same issue as well.
